Victor Ochoa, Anaplastic Large-Cell Lymphoma

Following Victor Ochoa down the road of life is a community experience. Victor never met a stranger and his big smiles and outgoing personality help him gather friends wherever he goes. Although his battle with cancer may have cost him his brown hair for a time, there was no interference with his interaction with people.

Victor is well-known for his sense of humor, turning standard greetings into standing jokes. But his wit isn’t the only reason he has lots of friends. Victor also loves to give. His gift of a Scrabble dictionary to settle disputes when playing the game with his fellow patients was a big surprise one day. During his treatment, you might have also found Victor helping a younger child get up and running with a game station or taking a friend downstairs to lunch.

Maturity also plays a role in Victor’s personality. He manages his own schedule, making his own appointments in the clinic and with his doctors. Whether he’s visiting the Houston Zoo on a field trip, being the honored guest at a gold tournament, or splashing his way through SeaWorld in San Antonio, Victor attracts people like a magnet.
