The MD Anderson Caring Fund is driven by our Caring core value and inspired by our employees' spirit and willingness to help one another. The fund is intended to provide financial assistance to address temporary needs – securing food and shelter – for our co-workers who are displaced by state or federal government-declared disasters.
Money donated to this fund provides financial assistance to active, regular full- and part-time employees and educational appointees who’ve lost or have been temporarily displaced from their homes by state or federal government-declared disasters.
The assistance is intended to address temporary needs such as securing food and shelter. Damage to vehicles or other property damage that doesn’t cause displacement isn’t eligible for assistance through the Caring Fund.
If you need assistance but aren’t sure what internal or external resources you may qualify for, you can speak with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) team member by calling 713-745-6901.
