Shanicca Joshua joined the Children’s Cancer Hospital in 2008 as a school re-entry coordinator before taking over as the Director for Pediatric Education and Creative Arts in 2009. Shanicca is responsible for the daily operations of all school programming.

Kris Frost joined the Children’s Cancer Hospital in 2009 as a school re-entry coordinator. She currently provides support for all school services to patients and families living with neurofibromatosis, brain and other solid tumors. Kris also works with patients and families receiving services through the childhood cancer survivors clinic.

Wykesha Hayes joined the Children’s Cancer Hospital in 2008 as a teacher for grades 6 through 12 in the in-hospital school. Wykesha transitioned to the role of school re-entry coordinator in 2009. She currently provides support for all school services to patients and families living with leukemia, lymphoma, and osteosarcoma. Wykesha also works with patients and families receiving stem cell transplant services.

Chawncey Stewart joined the Children’s Cancer Hospital in 2010 as a school re-entry coordinator. She currently provides support for all school services to all school-aged patients in both the hospital classroom and bedside settings.

James Estrella joined the Children’s Cancer Hospital in 2011 as a school re-entry coordinator. He currently provides support for all school services to all school-aged patients, focusing on English Language Learners, in both the hospital classroom and bedside settings.
