Proton Therapy Center

Proton therapy (pdf) is a form of radiation that allows for the most aggressive cancer therapy possible, while keeping the harm to healthy tissue and side effects to a minimum. This is particularly important for children. Already, many pediatric patients have received proton therapy as part of their treatment plan. Combined with MD Anderson's more than 60 years of expertise and pioneering research in radiation therapy, the Proton Therapy Center is the premier destination for cancer patients.
