Welcome to the Xiling Shen Lab! We aim to develop precise therapies that improve outcomes by using advanced models such as iPSC-derived systems, multiomics, AI and avatars. Our work in precision immunotherapy focuses on creating effective, low-toxicity treatments for challenging “cold” tumors. Additionally, we study cancer metastasis to understand and counteract changes in metabolism, genetics and immune pathways. Our research also examines the gut-brain axis and microbiome, exploring their impact on metabolism and inflammation in conditions like cachexia.
