Seeking Graduate Student Research Assistants, Postdoctoral Fellows and other research staff
We are actively seeking top graduate students pursuing M.S./Ph.D. degrees to work on funded research projects for their thesis/dissertation in the following areas of medical physics:
- Projects to improve access to cancer care in low- and middle-income regions. Examples include automatic planning and streamlined QA processes.
- Image segmentation and deformable image registration.
- Quantitative imaging (radiomics) to understand the radiation response of tumors and normal tissues
Candidates should first be accepted into the MD Anderson Medical Physics Program. We typically take 2 new graduate students each year from this program. For more information, contact Laurence Court, Ph.D. or Carlos Cardenas, Ph.D.
