At the School of Health Professions, Graduation Day marks not only the beginning of a new chapter for our dedicated students, but also a glimpse into the future of UT MD Anderson’s workforce. This milestone represents a significant achievement for our graduates, the School of Health Professions and UT MD Anderson as a whole.

This year, the School of Health Professions is pleased to host the 2026 Commencement Ceremony at the Bayou City Events Center.

Commencement will include remarks from UT MD Anderson and School of Health Professions leadership. We are honored this year to welcome Dr. Jeffrey Lee, UT MD Anderson Executive Vice President and Chief Physician Executive, as this year’s commencement speaker.

We are incredibly proud of our 2026 graduates and look forward to celebrating with them and their families. Additional details will be shared with graduates via email.

Day of Event Information

Doors to the ceremony rooms open at 4 p.m. for graduates and 4:45 p.m. for guests with tickets. Guest seating is ticketed, not reserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis. An announcement before 4:45 p.m. may be made to allow early seating for people with mobility issues.

The School of Health Professions will broadcast the live stream for remote viewers. Please register in advance to receive reminders and a calendar invitation before the event begins.
