Integrative Medicine Center

Cancer and its treatments can have major effects on you, your family and others who are close to you. A guiding hand from a professional who understands the conventional viewpoint, as well as the integrative medicine perspective, may be helpful.

The Integrative Medicine Center can assist with choices you may face regarding integrative medicine. You can share your concerns and expectations about integrative medicine and we will address these in a way that empowers you in your cancer journey. Medical Director Richard T. Lee, M.D., along with Daniel Epner, M.D. and Gabriel Lopez, M.D. provide advice to patients who wish to incorporate integrative therapies into their conventional cancer care.

Dr. Lee meets regularly with a team of professionals who have experience in conventional approaches as well as integrative treatments. This experience ranges from researching reliable information sources related to integrative therapies to providing expertise in non conventional substances, including nutritional substances, vitamins and herbs and the interactions these substances may have with each other and with conventional medications. Social, mind-spirit and physical aspects of health are all explored during your visit at the Integrative Medicine Center.

Our Mission

The mission of the Integrative Medicine Center is to work cooperatively with the primary oncology team to build comprehensive and integrative care plans that are personalized, evidence-based, and safe to improve health, quality of life, and clinical outcomes for our cancer patients and their families.
