As chair of the UT MD Anderson Board of Visitors (BOV), I have witnessed the dedication required to uphold excellence as the nation’s No. 1 hospital for cancer care and a global leader in cancer research. With that privilege comes a responsibility to amplify UT MD Anderson’s remarkable story and to ensure that patients, families and communities everywhere understand this truth: when facing a cancer diagnosis, there is no better place to be than UT MD Anderson.

This is the underlying theme of Only Possible Here, The Campaign to End Cancer, which celebrates and fuels UT MD Anderson’s groundbreaking innovations and transformative advancements. Generous volunteer leaders, donors, advocates and friends power this progress and help drive our success. In its silent phase, the campaign raised more than $1.9 billion toward its ambitious, $2.5 billion goal, including an extraordinary $450 million contributed by BOV members.

In FY25, UT MD Anderson achieved a historic fundraising milestone, raising an incredible $509 million to advance our bold mission to end cancer. Within the pages of this report, you will see the impact of philanthropy: expanded clinical trials, pioneering research and lives transformed through healing and hope. In FY25, UT MD Anderson served nearly 200,000 patients and families, delivering comprehensive cancer care powered by the latest scientific discoveries.
