Spiced pumpkin dip recipeLooking for an easy, healthy fall snack? This recipe for spiced pumpkin dip is the perfect treat for Halloween parties and other fall gatherings.

Serve the spiced pumpkin dip with sliced apples for some added cancer prevention perks. Apples are a good source of vitamin C and fiber, which helps with weight control and may lower your risks for cancer, according to the American Institute for Cancer Research.

Ingredients:
1 16 oz. can 100% pure packed pumpkin
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
8 oz. fat-free cream cheese
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)

Instructions:
1. Combine cream cheese and pumpkin. (It’s easier to mix if the cream cheese is at room temperature so you may want to put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds.)
2. Add sugar and spices.
3. Stir together. Can be served chilled or warm.
