M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Holds 'Star Search' Job Fair

The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is holding a "Star Search" Job Fair to recruit additional talent as it continues to grow and pursue its mission of eliminating cancer.

To learn about job openings, prospective candidates may visit the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 6701 Main St., April 19, 1-6 p.m., or call (713) 792-8002. Information on job postings is also available on-line at www.mdanderson.org/careers.

At the job fair, managers will be available to answer questions and discuss M. D. Anderson's competitive total compensation package. Some of the openings include professional, information technology, allied health, research, secretarial, clerical, business support, crafts, trades, service, nursing and security jobs.

At M. D. Anderson, all of the 10,000-plus employees play major roles in making the institution the nation's top cancer center. M. D. Anderson is one of only 36 cancer centers in the nation designated by the National Cancer Institute as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. 

For 10 consecutive years, U.S. News & World Report's "Best Hospitals" issue has ranked M. D. Anderson one of the two best cancer centers in the nation.
