Polo on the Prairie

Held at Rancho Verde in Breckenridge, Texas, Polo on the Prairie is more than just a polo match. It is a multifaceted experience that attracts polo players from across the U.S. and abroad, Grammy-winning country music stars and UT MD Anderson Cancer Center supporters of all ages to stomp a few divots, dine, dance and raise money for a worthy cause.  

Celebrating 40 years, Polo on the Prairie is UT MD Anderson’s longest-running fundraising event and has raised more than $13 million for numerous programs, including Chaplaincy, myCancerConnection, Patient Navigation and many other initiatives that elevate UT MD Anderson’s mission to end cancer.  

In 2026, Polo on the Prairie benefited UT MD Anderson’s Patient Navigation Program, which helps guide patients through care coordination.
