Noha Osman, Ph.D.
Associate Data Scientist
Dr. Noha Osman earned her doctorate through a joint program between the University of Southern California and Beni-Suef University, followed by postdoctoral fellowships at Louisiana State University and Baylor College of Medicine. Her research expertise spans multi-omics analysis, 3D genome organization and computational modeling, with a core focus on uncovering the molecular mechanisms underlying gene regulation and cancer progression. Dr. Osman currently focuses her research on sarcoma, integrating multi-omics, spatial and clinical datasets with advanced machine learning approaches to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. She is passionate about applying cutting-edge computational methods to translate complex biological data into clinically meaningful insights that advance precision oncology and improve patient outcomes.
Rumeysa Ozyurt, Ph.D.
Research Scientist
Dr. Ozyurt earned her B.S. in biology in Turkey before pursuing her Ph.D. in human physiology at the Eskisehir Osmangazi University Medical Faculty in Turkey. In 2022, she joined UT MD Anderson as a postdoctoral fellow. Her postdoctoral research focused on the role of SIK2/SIK3 kinases in endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and ER stress-mediated ER-phagy in ovarian cancer. Currently, Dr. Ozyurt's research focuses on sarcoma, aiming to identify novel therapeutic targets and treatment strategies that can be translated into clinical applications to improve outcomes for patients with these challenging cancers.
