Dr. Parekh is investigating the function and role of Notch signaling in mammalian testis. Using transgenic and knock-out mice, he investigates the regulation of of GDNF and cyp26 during development. He interests also include immunotherapy of Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer particularly the development of new theranostic probes for targeted therapy

Gandhi's research focuses on study of NOTCH signaling pathway in spermatogenesis. She also is attempting to demonstrate protein-protein interaction with NOTCH signaling transcription factor and its importance in the spermatogenesis. Also, cell-cell contact is required between germ line stem cells and niche cells for stem cell homeostasis.
