Allison Institute Scientific Symposium
The James P. Allison Institute’s inaugural scientific symposium will gather world-renowned scientists in the Texas Medical Center’s Helix park to present their research focused on "Advancing Science for Immunotherapy Cures." The symposium takes place Friday, Nov. 10 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the TMC3 Collaborative Building, 7225 Helix Park Ave., Houston, TX 77030.
The Allison Institute at MD Anderson was designed to advance exceptional discovery, translational and clinical research that will integrate immunobiology across all disciplines. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of the immune system, the institute aims to lead groundbreaking research that will bring the benefits of immunotherapy to all patients.
The symposium includes remarks from MD Anderson President Peter WT Pisters, M.D., and Allison Institute Director James P. Allison, Ph.D., plus presentations from twelve leading immunobiology and immunotherapy experts focused on themes from the Allison Institute’s priority research areas.
