Musculoskeletal Pathology Conference
October 17, 2026
UT MD Anderson South Campus Research Building
Musculoskeletal oncology represents a unique group of pathologic conditions for which little time is assigned during the training period in most orthopaedic residency programs. This conference will provide an overview of clinical, radiological and pathologic findings of common soft tissue and bone tumors. It will feature discussion about the fundamentals of radiographic interpretation generating, differential diagnosis and the treatment options of bone and soft tissue tumors. We will provide guidance in the proper management of these lesions in order to avoid pitfalls and ensure accurate diagnosis and proper management of patients with musculoskeletal tumors.
Conference Objectives
Upon completion of this conference, the participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate a familiarity with the radiographic findings of benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors.
- Demonstrate a familiarity with the pathological findings of benign and malignant soft tissue tumors.
- Create a differential diagnosis for these tumors.
- Demonstrate a familiarity with the treatment algorithms for benign and malignant and soft tissue tumors.
Meeting Registration
Register by sending your name, email address and home institution to Cassandra Martin or Paul Cuevas.
