Our goal is to help retirees stay connected and remain a part of MD Anderson by fostering a continued affiliation with MD Anderson’s mission.
About the Retirees Association
The Retirees Association was founded in 1993 and comprises men and women who retired from MD Anderson.
The association connects motivated former employees who want to remain active in the institution’s quest to eliminate cancer. Fellowship opportunities include regular social gatherings, outings and educational meetings for members.
Members meet quarterly in March, June, September and December.
The retirees Association is guided by a set of bylaws, which mandate annual dues — $15 per year and payable each fall between September 1 and December 31.
Membership benefits include:
- Maxi Messenger, a quarterly newsletter
- Membership directory
- Invitations to social events and outings
- Free flu shots (if vaccine is available)
