Deciding where to seek cancer treatment can be difficult and stressful. MD Anderson knows this can be a confusing, distressing  time for those newly diagnosed with cancer, their family and friends. We provide a variety of resources for navigating this process as well as provide a caring and experienced environment in which to manage your treatment.

Understand Your Disease

There are many different types of cancer, and several treatment options to consider, including experimental therapies. You may want to seek a second opinion from MD Anderson pathologists before deciding when and where to seek treatment.

Patient Access Specialists will guide you or your physician through the appointment process and help you prepare for your first visit.
