Breast Cancer Screening Module

Description

This module prepares participants to incorporate breast cancer education and screening skills into clinical practice. Those who complete the module will have basic cancer prevention and early detection skills. However, to become proficient, further clinical experience under the direction of a preceptor is recommended.

Thus, the module consists of classroom instruction and clinical skills practice with live models, plus clinical rotations that include patient contact and experiences. Clinical rotations are limited and therefore must be approved by the module coordinator or program manager.
