Sister Institutions
Global Academic Programs currently has 20 Sister Institutions (SIs) in Asia, Europe and Central and South America. These SIs and other Affiliation and Partnerships were created to support and manage collaborations for basic, translational and clinical research projects; cancer prevention and population sciences projects; educational exchanges and training; and clinical trials and patient care. Additional collaborations take place at "Centro Oncológico M. D. Anderson International España" [COMDAIE] in Spain.
Together, M. D. Anderson and these SIs are a very powerful research, education, clinical care and prevention network with great ability to influence and advance global oncology.
