Welcome to the Jiang Laboratory at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our laboratory studies the molecular mechanisms of CRISPR genome editing and its therapeutic applications in human cancer diseases. In addition, our laboratory aims to reveal the working mechanisms of significant RNA Binding Proteins (RBPs) in tumor formation and metastasis as well as the structural mechanisms of epigenetic deregulation in cancer development using a range of biochemical, structural biology and cell-based techniques.
Welcome to the Jiang Laboratory
The broad research focus areas in our laboratory are:
- Structural Biology of Protein & Nucleic Acid Complexes in Host Defense
- Molecular Mechanism of CRISPR Genome Editing Machinery
- RNA Editing and Innate Immunity in the Pathogenesis of Cancer
- Mechanism of ATP-Dependent Chromatin Remodeling Complex in Tumorigenesis
