Several specialty programs at MD Anderson offer clinical rotations in aspects of cancer treatment for senior residents from programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or those approved by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
Global Cancer Care Track
The Global Cancer Care Track (GCC) at MD Anderson offers a robust curriculum to prepare trainees to be leaders in global oncology. Trainees who are passionate about improving cancer care and outcomes for patients in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) and other under-resourced settings, are encouraged to apply for the two-year program.
House Staff Senate
MD Anderson trainees gain leadership experience through the House Staff Senate, a self-governing and representative body of the Graduate Medical Education (GME).
