Workshop Objectives

To identify opportunities for cardio-protection from perspectives of sarcoma, leukemia, breast cancer, and pediatric patients.

To predict patient’s susceptibility to develop cardiotoxicity before chemotherapy and strategies for PRIMARY PREVENTION.

To discuss strategies for SECONDARY PREVENTION after chemotherapy-induced changes in biomarkers and echo.

To discuss the potential for cessation of heart failure therapy and strategy for long-term follow up.
