Evidence of Insurability
Evidence of Insurability (EOI) is the record of a person's past and current health events and is used by insurance companies to verify whether a person can be approved for some coverages.
Employees (and dependents for some plans) enrolling in coverage during the first 31 days of hire, are not required to receive approval for most plans. The requirements for EOI vary based on the type and timing of coverage selected.
