One of the goals of the Hanns A. Pielenz Clinical Research Center for Myeloproliferative Neoplasia (HAP-CRC-MPN) is to educate physicians, patients and their families about new research findings and available treatments for myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN).
As part of our mission to educate, we have established collaborations with national patient support groups and regularly publish articles about available therapies in the Foundations’ newsletters. In addition, Dr. Verstovsek is frequently and an invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings, including annual meetings of the American Society of Hematology, American Society for Clinical Oncology, and the European Hematology Association. Dr. Verstovsek is a also a frequent speaker at patient educational meetings and symposia held in various cities across the United States.

The UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center invite you to attend the Texas Virtual MPN Workshop (TMW) 2020: First Annual Workshop and Meeting.
This two-day online workshop, open to the broader MPN community, physicians, and providers, brings together medical experts in the field of myeloproliferative neoplasms to discuss the many new research and therapy options in development for patients with MPN.
Registration is free for all and includes a slate of online sessions featuring key international speakers, and a newly added discussion section on COVID-19 and MPNs.
