Focus on Junior Faculty, created by junior faculty, assists early stage researchers, physician scientists and clinicians at MD Anderson to launch and maintain successful careers in academic medicine. The group identifies pertinent career development resources and shares them through supportive and informative discussion sessions with peers, institutional leaders and other distinguished faculty. The goal of the group is to create networking opportunities for junior faculty, provide a platform for relevant information and narrow the gap between junior and senior faculty.
