Bladder cancer is the fourth most common cancer in men and eighth most common in women in the United States. As with many cancers, the biggest risk factor is smoking. Colin Dinney, M.D., chairman of the Department of Urology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, discusses other risks, symptoms, treatment (including BCG Bacillus Calmette-Guerin), and current research for bladder cancer.
