MD Anderson visitors who do not have their own cars available have several transportation options.
- MD Anderson shuttle vans can take patients to different parts of the institution
- Guests at Jesse H. Jones Rotary House International can ride a shuttle van to any location within a 1.5-mile radius of the Texas Medical Center (TMC)
- Houston's METRO buses can take riders virtually anywhere in town they want to go
- Rental Cars - MD Anderson patients and their travel companions are eligible for auto rental discounts from Alamo Rent-A-Car (in Houston only). Those making reservations should identify themselves as MD Anderson patients or traveling companions and provide the corporate identification number 268452. Patients can make reservations through their travel agents or by calling Alamo Rent-A-Car at 1-800-732-3232
