How You Can Help
MD Anderson Cancer Center wishes to thank those who support the Online Quilt Auction.
Donations by Denise Urban Fabric, Cherrywood Fabrics and ReannaLily Designs Sewing and Pattern Company have produced beautiful quilts for the auction. Cherrywood Fabrics founder Dawn Hall lost her battle to ovarian cancer in 2002 and Denise Urban battles the disease today. We honor these women.
Tremendous support has been provided by local area quilt guilds that donate quilts and continue to help spread awareness about ovarian cancer. Thanks to Venetta Morger and the Woodlands Area Quilt Guild and Francie Baxter and the Quilt Guild of Greater Houston for their dedication to the project.
With many thanks to the Ovarian Cancer Quilt Project's Steering Committee members who dedicate their time to meet throughout the year to plan the auction.
A special note of gratitude to MD Anderson's own Medical Graphics and Photography studio as well as Shawn Green and Barb Garvin who photographed all quilts for the auction.
