The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Disclosure Policy for Faculty/Authors/Planning Committee Members

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education has announced standards and guidelines to insure that individuals participating in CME activities are aware of sponsor and/or program chair, planning committee member, teacher, or author relationships with commercial companies that could potentially affect the information presented. The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center has implemented a process where everyone who is in a position to control the content of an educational activity must disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest.

In compliance with this policy, a superscript number has been placed by the name of the program chair, planning committee member, teacher, or author who has indicated that he/she has an affiliation with a commercial interest which have interests related to the content of the presentation or that may financially support the activity.
