Trainee Research Day

Trainee Research Day

Trainee Research Day is an annual event sponsored by the MD Anderson Alumni & Faculty Association to recognize and exhibit the research of our educational trainees.

This event consists of both an oral platform competition and a live poster competition. It is an excellent opportunity to see what's really happening in all areas of research at the institution.

Trainee Research Day 2015 is scheduled for June 10, 2015 in the Cancer Prevention Building, 8th floor conference space. It features separate competitions for postdoctoral and clinical fellows, and graduate students and undergraduate students of the School of Health Professions in the four areas of Basic Science, Clinical, Population Science and Translational Research. An “Elevator Speech” Competition will also be featured to provide all trainees the opportunity to convey their science is under 3 minutes with prizes awarded.

Awards ranged from $500 to $1000 and were sponsored by AMGEN, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals and the MD Anderson Alumni & Faculty Association Education Fund. For more information, contact the alumni office at 713-794-1955 or
