Matching Process

Researchers interested in establishing a collaboration with a co-leader at either MD Anderson or the University of Puerto Rico must fill out a Research Interests Form (pdf) and e-mail the form with a current CV/biosketch to the Administrative Core contacts. Once your research interests form is reviewed, you will be given a list of potential matches, if available. To be eligible for Co-leader status, a faculty member must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a full-time faculty appointment at the University of Puerto Rico or MD Anderson at the initiation of the award
  • Demonstrate a strong academic career interest in an area pertinent to the mission of the Partnership
  • Devote professional time to research activities
  • Be a U. S. citizen or a lawfully admitted non-U. S. citizen eligible for NIH funding
