Investigational Cancer Therapeutics Observer Program
Our faculty is dedicated to the mission of teaching evidence-based, patient-oriented care as it relates to clinical research. We strongly believe that teaching the “researchers of tomorrow” is a special calling which must be approached with care and dedication. As such, the Department of Investigational Cancer Therapeutics (A Phase I Clinical Trials Program) Observer Program offers an outstanding educational experience for qualified applicants.
During a rotation, observers will have the opportunity to learn about new drug development and all aspects of clinical research, including, but not limited to, data management, budget issues, grants and contracts, protocol development and implementation, and patient care. The majority of our patient base consists of solid tumor patients.
The Department of Investigational Cancer Therapeutics offers one short-term observer position per month. Please note that we do not offer salary/benefits or sponsor visas. All travel arrangements and any costs incurred to participate in the observer program will be the sole responsibility of the observer.
Please note that this observer program is for our Phase I Clinical Trials Program. We do not coordinate observer programs for other departments. If you wish to pursue observer opportunities in other departments, please contact that department directly.
