Application Deadline and Interview Requirements

Application submission deadline is January 31, 2010
A telephone interview is required for selected applicants
An on-site interview is required for final candidates

The following must be submitted to be considered for selection:

A completed application for the Post Graduate Fellowship in Oncology Nursing:

A completed online application for employment at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center:
Click "online application" then enter "APN fellowship" after Keywords; click Search then "Advanced Practice Nurse - Fellowship"
A Statement of Intent (not to exceed one typewritten page) describing you career goals and reasons for pursuing the fellowship
Curriculum vitae
College transcripts (unofficial)
Three letters of evaluation (doc) using the required form

Scheduling of Onsite Interview

An onsite interview is required for applicants who have been selected as candidates. Interviews will be conducted March through April, after receipt of all application materials. Candidates are responsible for the costs for the onsite interview.

Note: Fellows will be required to apply to the University of Texas School of Nursing as a non-degree seeking student. This is a separate application process requiring an application fee and transcripts.
