Professional Education for Prevention & Early Detection (PEPED)

PEPED is a unique training program for nurses, primary care physicians, mid-level providers, and other healthcare professionals who want to develop or enhance their skills in cancer prevention, screening and early detection.

Health care professionals with the right knowledge and skills can have a major impact in decreasing cancer morbidity and mortality.

Hands-on Training, World-Class Education, Individual Attention

PEPED is one of just a few programs that offer prevention and screening instruction and clinical experience at a major cancer center. Clinical practice is a vital part of our professional curriculum, because we know how important patient contact is to learning. You’ll learn top-notch screening and early detection techniques from leaders in the cancer detection and prevention fields, while benefiting from small class sizes. With just four to six people per class, you’ll receive individual attention and intensive education.
