Nursing Education Outreach Program (NEO)
M. D. Anderson's Nursing Education Outreach Department coordinates continuing education courses, clinical observation schedules and mobile education programs for nurses and other health care providers who are not employees at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
These unique programs focus on oncology and related topics. Clinical observation and mobile education programs can be customized to meet your needs.

These Outreach Education programs are conducted several times a year:
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice
Topics include preparation, handling and administration of antineoplastic drugs. Discussion of nursing interventions, policies and procedures based on the ONS guidelines will be included.

ONS Radiation Oncology Nursing Practice and Education
This course is designed for inpatient and ambulatory oncology nurses who care for patients receiving radiation therapy. The content is appropriate for those who are new to radiation as well as for those who desire a review of this topic.
