Core Curriculum Lecture Series
The core curriculum is offered by MD Anderson faculty to all trainees enrolled in graduate medical education programs. The series is sponsored by the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Committee and is designed in concert with other institutional programs to meet Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education curriculum requirements. It also provides our trainees with a strong foundation in clinical oncology and the conduct of clinical trials.

Competency Lecture Series
The competency lecture series is offered by MD Anderson faculty to all trainees enrolled in graduate medical education programs. The series is sponsored by the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Committee and is designed in concert with other institutional programs to meet Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) curriculum requirements. The lecture series is designed to address and implement the six ACGME competencies: (1) Patient Care, (2) Medical Knowledge, (3) Practice Based Learning and Improvement, (4) System Based Practice, (5) Professionalism and (6) Interpersonal Skills and Communication.
