The mission of Global Academic Programs is to support the mission of The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center which is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.
Global Academic Programs Vision Statement
The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center’s Global Academic Programs will constitute the world’s premier scholarly network dedicated to basic, translational and clinical cancer research; international cancer prevention and treatment; and education of the world's next generation of scientists and health care professionals focused on the elimination of cancer, its causes and consequences.
