Sponsorship/Co-Sponsorship (pdf) - 1 page
Describes the process for obtaining institutional sponsorship/co-sponsorship of scientific and clinical meetings. Explains responsibilities and expectations once sponsorship is obtained.

CME Credit Only

Major Educational Conference (pdf) - 11 pages
Explains the three-step process for requesting institutional sponsorship and obtaining CME credit for an educational conference. CME/Conference Management requires signature, date, printed name and department on these guidelines.

Enduring Materials (pdf) - 11pages
Explains the five-step process for requesting institutional sponsorship and obtaining CME credit for educational (enduring) materials such as printed, recorded, computer-assisted instructional products and Internet programs. CME/Conference Management requires signature and date on these guidelines.

On-Site Requirements (pdf) - 2 pages
Summarizes institutional CME positions and requirements to ensure compliance with ACCME and AMA guidelines as well as with MD Anderson policy. CME/Conference Management requires certification that these guidelines are followed.

ACCME Standards for Commercial Support (pdf) - 3 pages
Describes appropriate behavior of accredited sponsors in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating certified CME activities from which commercial support is received.

Regularly Scheduled Conferences (pdf) - 7 pages
Describes the program requirements and procedures for providing CME activities that maintain, develop or increase the knowledge, skills and professional performance of the intended physician audience.
