Our Four-Step Model
CPD&E utilizes a 4-step model for individuals to begin the professional development process and engages resources to help the participant enhance those skills outlined in their individual development plan. Each of the four steps provides a structured method for trainees to assess and analyze their future options while preparing a plan to address any “gaps” in their professional DNA. The Center offers a course “Professional Development Strategies for Researchers and Clinicians” that examines this model and its application by trainees and students.
