Parking

Parking information is oriented based upon the building you are visiting. There are three parking garages with easy access to MD Anderson. Garages 2 and 10 are operated by the Texas Medical Center (TMC), and the Mays Clinic Garage is owned and operated by MD Anderson. Valet parking is also available at all MD Anderson buildings.

Main Hospital/Alkek

• Valet Parking: open 24 hours, $15 flat rate for up to 24hrs, car may be retrieved from any valet location.
• Garage 2: open 24 hours, located near the Hospital entrance. Costs range from $2 (every 20 minutes) to $12 (up to 24 hours)
• Garage 10: open 24 hours, linked by sky bridge to the Main Building. Costs range from $2 (every 20 minutes) to $12 (up to 24 hours)
• Mays Clinic Garage: open 6:00 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday See parking rates
  • Shuttle carts on sky bridge are available between Mays Clinic/CPB and Clark Clinic from 6:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.

• Valet Parking: open 24 hours, $15 flat rate for up to 24 hours. Vehicle may be retrieved from any valet location.

Radiation Treatment Center/Radiation Oncology Clinic

• Valet Parking: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (or last patient) By appointment only ($20 after 2 hours). Validation provided for first 2 hours.

1MC/Human Resources

• Mid Campus Garage: Open 24 hours a day, cashier on duty 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• No shuttle service to patient care facilities

Remote Parking

Garage 8 offers remote garage parking at 2151 Holcombe Boulevard (at Pressler St.). Show your parking token to take the free Blue shuttle to MD Anderson. The shuttle runs Monday-Friday from 4:30 a.m. - 12:07 a.m.

Remote surface parking is available in the South Extension Lot or Brown Lot. Shuttle service is not available at this location.

• 1-2 hours: $4.00
• 2-24 hours: $6.00
• Lost Chip: $10.00

Metro South Fannin Park and Ride Lot: This lot at 1604 West Bellfort offers parking for $2.00/day, with access to the METRORail Red Line to the Texas Medical Center.

What if I have appointments in multiple locations?

Park once and use MD Anderson Transportation:

• Valet Parking will return your vehicle to you at any served location
• MD Anderson shuttle carts offer transportation on the skybridge between Clark Clinic and Mays Clinic between 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• MD Anderson ground shuttles are available for patients and their guests traveling between the Main Building, Mays Clinic, Proton Therapy Center and Radiation Outpatient Center. The shuttles operate Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
