Breast Services
Whether you have a diagnosis of breast cancer or suspect something doesn't look or feel right, the Regional Care Center in Sugar Land provides comprehensive breast services with a multidisciplinary team of specialists whose focus is on cancer and treatment of breast disease. Our team of surgical oncologists, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists are all board-certified and faculty members of MD Anderson Cancer Center. These specialty trained clinicians work closely together to provide a treatment plan designed for you with the added convenience of being closer to home. Our breast surgeons are all fellowship trained in breast surgical oncology, which provides them additional specialty training in the treatment of both benign, non-cancerous, and malignant diseases of the breast. Throughout your cancer journey, you can rest assured that our breast surgeons are solely dedicated to breast care and breast surgery.
Diagnostic Services
The latest, minimally invasive diagnostic techniques are performed on site by MD Anderson surgeons. Diagnostic services include suspicion of cancer evaluation, including advanced imaging services and pathology that may be ordered either locally or at MD Anderson’s main campus.
Breast Cancer Services
With your care needs in mind, our regional care center offers comprehensive services available on-site and tailored to your specific needs. A multidisciplinary treatment approach is used as your team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and surgical oncologists meet weekly to ensure you get the most effective treatment possible. Soon after diagnosis and throughout your treatments, you will have an access and navigation team, including a nurse navigator to help guide you and your loved ones through the cancer journey and toward recovery.

- Breast conservation surgery
- Skin sparing/nipple sparing mastectomies

- Accelerated partial breast irradiation

Benign Breast Disease Services
In addition to world-class cancer care, the Regional Care Center in Sugar Land offers diagnosis, management and follow-up of benign conditions such as breast pain, nipple discharge and breast lumps.

Breast Friends
Breast Friends is a monthly support group open to all breast cancer survivors, regardless of treatment status. For more information, call 281-566-1908.
When: Second Tuesday of the month, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Where: St. Luke's Sugar Land Hospital, 1327 Lake Pointe Parkway (Hwy. 6 and U.S. 59)
