HOTPET Reconstructed Images
Breast Mode: Breast Phantom with Lesion

Three views of a reconstructed image slice of breast phantoms with 4.95 mm lesions attached to a torso phantom. The standard uptake value (SUV) of lesion was 2.5. This was the lowest SUV at which the 4.95 mm lesion was clearly observable. The SUV of breast phantom, torso, and heart were 0.8, 1 and 4, respectively. The data were acquired with the HOTPET camera in the breast configuration.
Whole-Body Mode: Breast Phantom with Lesion

Three views of a reconstructed image slice of breast phantoms with 4.95 mm lesions attached to a torso phantom. SUV of lesion was 5.5. This was the lowest SUV at which the 4.95 mm lesion was clearly observable. The SUV of breast phantom, torso, and heart were 0.8, 1 and 4, respectively. The data were acquired with the HOTPET camera in the whole-body configuration.
Lesion Detectability

This figure shows the required standard uptake value for definitive observation of lesion versus the lesion size for the two different configuration of HOTPET camera.
