Postdoc Positions
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Molecular Carcinogenesis at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Note that this position is located at the Science Park in Smithville, Texas which is located in Buescher State Park. Smithville is approximately 45 minutes east of Austin, Texas. The lab studies the role of Activation Induced Deaminase (AID) induced DNA editing in immunity, cancer and epigenetic reprogramming.
Projects will focus on post-translational control of AID, choice of error-prone versus high fidelity DNA repair and involvement in DNA demethylation and epigenetic reprogramming.
