Relationship Stress, SES, and Inflammation: Pathways to Quality of Life.

This pilot study will examine relationships between marital conflict, socioeconomic status (SES), obesity, inflammation and quality of life among breast cancer survivors and their spouses. The goal of this study is to build pilot data for a larger R01.

Stress and Post-Treatment Immune Responses to the Influenza Vaccine: Implications for Cancer Health Disparities

This pilot study will examine how stress associated with the first year after a cancer diagnosis and treatment would diminish the immune system's ability to mount a four-fold increase in antibody titers to the flu vaccine. The goal of this study is to build pilot data for a larger R01.
