Postdoctoral Fellows – Mammalian Genetics and Epigenetics
Postdoctoral positions are available in the Department of Molecular Carcinogenesis at Science Park, Smithville. Research in our laboratory focuses on epigenetic mechanisms in mammalian development and diseases. We use genetically engineered mice as well as cellular systems to investigate the roles of epigenetic modifiers in a variety of biological processes, including embryogenesis, gametogenesis, stem cell function, tumorigenesis, metabolism, and immunity (examples of our recent work include: Chen et al. Nature Genetics 2007; Wang et al. Nature Genetics 2009; Ciccone et al. Nature 2009; Xu et al. Molecular Cell 2011). Candidates with a PhD or MD degree, with expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, or other biomedical disciplines, and who are highly motivated to contribute to biomedical research are encouraged to apply. If interested, please send your CV and the contact information of three references to Dr. Taiping Chen (firstname.lastname@example.org).
