Recording a Lecture

Very few lecture halls are optimally set up for videotaping purposes. Consider a special studio-based videotaping session if a higher quality product is desired, or request a venue with existing video infrastructure, such as Hickey Auditorium. When preparing AV materials to complement a lecture, assume at some point it will be videotaped or re-purposed for internet delivery. When possible, create all slides in PowerPoint and adhere to PowerPoint templates that establish text size and screen placement.
