Fellowship
Applications are currently being accepted for a Fellowship Program in Sarcoma sponsored by the Departments of Sarcoma Medical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Based at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center, the program provides Fellows with clinical, laboratory and didactic opportunities in all areas of sarcoma medicine. The training program will foster the development of skills in the diagnosis and management of sarcomas, an understanding of the importance of the multidisciplinary approach to sarcoma, and insight into ongoing patient-oriented and laboratory-based sarcoma research. In addition to clinical rotations with the medical service, the Fellow will have an opportunity to work with the world-renowned sarcoma experts in surgical oncology, radiation oncology and pathology at MD Anderson.
The one-year clinical Fellowship can be extended to a second research-oriented year during which time the Fellow will have an opportunity to develop translational laboratory research skills relevant to sarcoma medicine.
How to Apply
Applicants must:
- Have successfully completed an approved residency or fellowship training program in medical oncology
- Be board eligible or equivalent in one of these specialties
- Be eligible for a Texas medical license
