Immunocytochemistry

The Section of Immunocytochemistry focuses on providing stains of antigens as in the histological or cytological diagnosis of neoplastic conditions and in predicting the outcome of patients with cancer. Research activities are done independently and in collaboration with staff from the division, other departments and other institutions. Currently the annual volume of the section is approximately 103,000 slides with 95% consisting of clinical studies. A separate research operation has been established with a charge-back system.
