Tenure Track Clinical Faculty - Emergency Medicine
The newly established Department of Emergency Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center announces openings for tenure track clinical faculty. This position is supported by institutional funding to provide as much as 75% dedicated research effort for the initial appointment with future intramural support dependent on adequate progress toward an independent research career. Successful candidates will have advanced research training and skills. MD Anderson provides extensive opportunities for collaboration and departmental research priorities include pain, palliative care, health services research and epidemiology. Director, Emergency Ultrasound
The newly established Department of Emergency Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks an Emergency Ultrasound Director to join our growing faculty. Candidates must be board-prepared or board-certified in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine and fellowship-trained in emergency ultrasound. Responsibilities include providing patient care to patients with oncologic emergencies in our 45-bed Emergency Center; providing training and oversight to our ultrasound program; educating medical students, residents, and fellows; and engaging in academic pursuits to support the development of oncologic emergency medicine as a distinct specialty.
